LANGUAGE IN PROVENCE is a well-established language school based in the beautiful Luberon Regional Park in the south of France. In our idyllic village environment in the heart of Provence we offer high-quality French language courses, English language courses and combined specialist activity courses for adults. Immersion, intensive, individual and tailor-made courses for adults of all nationalities in small groups are our speciality and our courses run from March to November. January 2012

What a glorious day here in St Saturnin. The sleepy countryside is bathed in warm sunshine, the vines are being pruned and the almond trees are already in blossom. Just idyllic.....

We have just returned to St Saturnin after hosting our stand at the France Show. A huge thank you to all of you who came to chat with us, attend our language seminar or even enter our prize draw (winners will be announed later today!). We have started posting photos of the Show on our Language In Provence Facebook page so do have a look.

We had many enquiries at the Show about early spring dates so we have advanced our season and will be offering courses from 20 February. If you think you may be interested in a course in February or March could you get in touch as soon as possible. Come and see us in St Saturnin. It's a wonderful village, full of delightful people, and we'll help you discover and experience a real part of Provence!

If there is information you need that we have not posted just let us know.

Our French Immersion Course has been reorganised to include morning tuition, lunches, excursion and many other elements. Afternoon classes are optional and are being offered as one-to-one sessions. Great if there are particular language points you would like to raise with your teacher or if you have specific needs in your language learning, for example a particular set of language skills for a job.

We also continue to offer our Individual Immersion courses.

We have a wider programme of Specialist Theme Weeks scheduled for next season. Our 'lavender weeks' have been enormously popular this year and we are already taking bookings for 2012. Next year we will definitely be running lavender weeks beginning 25 June & 9 July and have reservations so let us know if you think you may be interested in either of these weeks as they will book up quickly. The fields of lavender on the high plains of Haute Provence have been truly exquisite this summer and we have ended several of our tours in a great little restaurant in Lagarde d'Apt which now merits a Michelin mention.

Do remember that our courses offer scope and possibilities for learners of different levels and with different goals in mind. These days we are delighted to welcome a new generation of French learners. Over the last few years many of those who have joined us have been at the beginning of their professional lives and have been interested in improving their language skills to improve job opportunities. We are delighted that many more of you have been able to join us this year, as well as learners of all ages who love the French language and French culture and want to enjoy a wide experience of both.
